Our Philosophy

Purpose: Why We Exist

In times of stability and times of uncertainty.

When some things come to an end and others take shape.

We want to use technology to support people who step into an uncertain future where yesterday’s answers no longer apply.

Some people take on challenges for which there is no precedent or clear answer.
As their needs have evolved, we have repeatedly reshaped our technologies and our business to meet them.
We do not seek to be the protagonists. We want to stand beside those who choose to embrace change and support their will to move forward through technology.
That is our purpose.

Vision: Where We Want to Be in Ten Years

A society where people can keep moving forward by their own choice in a changing world.

As technology advances, familiar answers will become obsolete ever more quickly.
What matters is neither being swept along by change nor resisting it, but enabling people and organizations to keep choosing their next step for themselves, even as the world changes around them.
We will continue to provide the foundation that supports their ability to move forward.

Mission: What We Do

Understand what matters, turn people’s aspirations into decisions, and build systems that put those decisions into practice.

We look beyond the complexity of the real world to understand its underlying issues.
Starting with what people and organizations hope to achieve, we identify possibilities they may not yet see.
Our work does not end with a single engagement. We turn what we learn into lasting systems, so that decisions once possible only for a few individuals become a capability the organization can retain and build upon.

Values: How We Act

思考は力。
Thought is power.

“思考は力。 — Thought is power.” is a principle we have long valued.
To us, thought means more than intellectual analysis.

It means understanding people’s intentions, hopes, and feelings.
It also means examining facts and structures, asking the right questions, and working toward answers through reason.
We believe these two ways of thinking belong together.

Aspiration alone cannot change reality.
We begin with what people care about, think it through, and turn it into action.
That is what “Thought is power” means to us.

We therefore make three commitments:

Step into the unknown and find clarity.

Ask well-founded questions and offer meaningful insights.

Understand people’s aspirations and help bring them to life.

These three commitments guide our daily work.
